Next
to GCH Hill's Acres Trail O Nostalgia 11*M,
Surely is quite possibly the most dairy doe in the herd. She is a very lean doe that
puts her heart in the bucket twice a day. She is open ribbed, very
sharp and angular with a lean, long, dairy neck that we so often dream
of. She is proving to be quite a little genetic powerhouse with both
of her daughters, although dry, looking very much in type and style like
herself. She has a globular shaped mammary that is well attached
with good medial support. Although her teats are nearly ideal in
size, they should be more plumb in their placement. She has good rear
udder height and width, with a fore that blends quite smoothly into the
body wall. Surely has already earned two milking legs as a two year-old
and we hope to finish her next year. Her 2002 ADGA National Show placing
as 12th, of 71, was quite a surprise. She freshened in January,
making her quite stale come July, and had been shown quite heavily prior
to jumping in the trailer to go to the Nationals. She loves the show
ring however and really struts her stuff when on the move, and chews her
cud at rest making her a pleasure to handle. Her show history so far
has been 1xGCH, 2xRGCH, 6x1st and 2x2nd.
