Goodey is the daughter of the 1st place Four Year-old at the 2002 ADGA National Show in Pueblo, Colorado. She didn't do so bad herself being 2nd place, 2nd place udder in her own Two Year-old age class. I feel that she will mature to be an even stronger doe than her dam. She is long bodied with proportionate depth of heart girth that deepens into the flank, and has excellent spring of rib. She has lovely straight fore legs that are properly set in relation to the wither. She is a very smoothly blended, angular doe with a tight front end assembly and sharpness to the wither. She has a level top line with great length from hips to pins.
Her mammary is quite pleasing to look at and milk. She has nearly ideal medial suspension lending to her proper teat placement on a mammary that is high and wide in the rear and smoothly blended in the fore. We are excited to see her freshen as a third freshening three year-old. We really feel this doe will quite possibly mature to be one of the leaders in our herd. Her first daughter freshened as a yearling, and had her same strength of mammary. To date her show ring success has been 2x1st and 2x2nd. She was also Reserve Grand Champion as a milking yearling under her dam Beauquet, who finished her championship that day and was BOB as a three year-old.
